Take for example the 11 year old Haris Khan, the youngest smartphone app developer in the world; our nation has been given reasons to celebrate time and again, as talented Pakistanis keep adding to our vast gallery of national accolades.

“Similarly, K&N’s, a Pakistan based poultry company has recently made us all proud by winning 5 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze, along with a special trophy for winning 5 gold medals at the IFFA International Quality Competition, in Frankfurt, Germany”, said the K&N’s statement.

The IFFA International Quality Competition for sausages and cold cuts is heldat the world’s leading trade fair for the global meat industry. In this competition, K&N’s competed against renowned food brands from Europe, North America, South America and Asia, and won medals for all the 7 products that they entered from their Deline range.

The IFFA competition takes place every 3 years in which brands from all over the world compete by submitting their products for valuation. Trained expert judges select the winners based on the product aroma and taste, external product finishing, and condition of the package/container, product appearance, colour and composition and product consistency/texture.

What is significant in all this, is that K&N’s was recognized and awarded 7 medals, by the Germans, who pride themselves of top notch know-how in sausage making, and that too in a competition where best brands from all over the world compete. This indeed is a huge honour for Pakistan.

This international achievement just strengthens our trust and reinforces our belief in K&N’s as a world class food brand, the statement concluded.
