PESHAWAR: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to recruit 500 retired military personnel in the provincial police department – ARY News reports.
According to the Central Police Officer (CPO), KP Government has decided to recruit 500 ex-army men in KP Police, under which a retired Major will be appointed at the post of Superintendent Police (SP), whilst Lance Naik (R) will be recruited as a Constable, Hawaldar as Head Constable, Naib Soobaidar as ASI.
He further told that a retired Captain will be designated as the Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP).
The CPO elaborated that these 500 ex-army personnel will be recruited for the vacant posts in KP Police in Peshawar, Hangu, Charsadda and Sawabi districts.
He mentioned that all these appointments will be contract-based.
