The alleged rigging of LB polls in KP has led to difficulties for the PTI-led government in KP. The tripartite alliance comprising Awami National Party (ANP), Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and Peoples Party today gave a call for strike and protest from Wednesday, June 1.

Addressing a joint press conference, ANP leader Mian Iftikhar said that the alliance will take out procession and hold rallies in all the districts.

Opposition parties accused massive irregularities in the recent LB elections in KP held on May 30, which was also admitted by the PTI chairman Imran Khan.

Khan also offered for holding the re-elections in the province under military supervision, in order to address the reservations of different political parties.
