KSE 100-Index breaks all previous records hitting 28336.36pts

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange has broken all the previous records on Thursday hitting all time high as KSE 100-Index crossed 28000 points, ARY News reported.

KSE 100-Index has witnessed the positive progress of 409.18 points closing at 28336.36 points with the progress of 1.49 per cent.

High and Low were 28,386.11 and 27,932.02 respectively.

Total volume traded in the market was 481,821,409 and in terms of value it was 17,873,698,733.

Total traded companies were 386, among them 222 advanced, 140 declined while 24 went unchanged.

The three top traded companies were Lafarge Pak. with a volume of 62,390,500 and price per share of 12.04 (0.49), NIB Bank Limited with a volume 48,931,500 of price per share of 2.79 (0.39), Summit Bank with a volume 38,239,000 of price per share of 4.54 (0.46).

Unilever Foods, Nestle Pak. and Pak Tobacco were top three advancers while Rafhan Maize XD, Bata (Pak) and Murree Brewery were top three decliners.
