KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index recorded slight growth of 11.71 points on Wednesday, ARY News reported.
KSE-100 Index closed at 27258.68 points with the progress of 0.04 per cent.
High and Low were 27365.85 and 27199.44 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 253,035,107 and in terms of value it was 10,242,734,141.
Total traded companies were 361, among them 162 advanced, 175 declined while 24 went unchanged.
Faysal Bank with a volume of 48,261,000 shares, Fatima Fert. with a volume of 16,190,000 shares, Fauji Cement XD with a volume of 11,509,500 shares were the top three traded companies.
Rafhan Maize XD, Nestle Pak. and Pak Tobacco were top three advancers while Wyeth Pak Ltd XD, Bata (Pak) and Hinopak Motor were top three decliners.
Analysts said the investors remained wary due to hearing of missing persons case. They further claimed that unchanged interest rate in the recently announced monetary policy also affected the Stock market negatively.
