KSE-100 Index crossed 24000 points
KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange whole heartedly welcomed the appointment of new Chief of Army Staff and KSE-100 Index closed at 24180.49 on Thursday with the increase of 412.14 points, ARY News reported.
The growth of KSE-100 index was 1.73 percent.
According to dealers, foreign investors seemed interested in the shares of banking, Oil and Gas cement, textile stocks.
The Nishat Mills Ltd rose 4.59 percent to 110.50 rupees while Pakistan State Oil Co Ltd was up 2.46 percent at 312 rupees.
High and Low were 24204.48 and 23768.35 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 120,788,150.
