KSE 100-index ends tad lower
KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange 100-Index on Friday shed only one point to close at 29,249 points against 29,250 points the last day.
In the wake of profit earning by institutions, the KSE witnessed a volatile session on Friday.
The trading side also witnessed a lower trend and the volumes at the ready counter slipped to 309.799 million shares from 350.367 million shares. Market capitalization, however remained on the positive side and closed at Rs7.034 trillion against Rs7.029 trillion.
Out of total 367 active stocks, some 129 witnessed positive trend, 218 lost their worth and that of 20 remained unchanged.
