KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 Index witnessed positive progress of 102.37 points or 0.12 per cent on Monday, ending the day at 26590.69 points, ARY News reported.
High and Low were 26632.90 and 26488.32 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 204,873,275 and in terms of value it was 8,335,842,583.
Total traded companies were 415, among them 247 advanced, 149 declined while 14 went unchanged.
Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 104,680,300 shares. It was followed by Personal Goods (Textile) with a total traded volume of 95,093,050 shares.
The top three advancers were Island Textile, Shezan Inter and Siemens PakistanSPOT while Unilever Foods, Wyeth Pak Ltd and Bata (Pak) were top three decliners.
K.E.S.C. with a volume of 22,502,000, Lafarge Pak. With a volume of 11,216,000 and Dewan Cement with a volume 6,295,500 were among the top three traders.
Nestle Pak., Siemens PakistanXD and MithchellsFruit were top three advancers of the day while Unilever Foods, Bata (Pak) and Sanofi-Aventis were top three advancers.
