KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 Index witnesssed positive progress on Monday gaining 284.03 points, ARY News reported.
KSE-100 Index closed at 27176.26 points.
High and Low were 27220.51 and 26834.55 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 244,684,030 and in terms of value it was 15,676,211,636.
Total traded companies were 385, among them 199 advanced, 172 declined while 14 went unchanged.
Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 52,804,300 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 36,871,600 shares.
TRG Pakistan Ltd. with a volume of 19,138,500, Byco Petroleum with a volume 17,268,500, Maple Leaf Cement with a volume 16,476,000 were top traded companies.
Nestle Pak., Sanofi-Aventis and P.S.O. were top three advancers while Unilever Foods, Rafhan Maize and Colgate Palmoliv were top three decliners.
