KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 Index gained the momentum on Thursday gaining 49.22 points showing positive progress of 0.18 per cent ending the day at 27064.34 points, ARY News reported.
High and Low were 27204.55 and 26997.86 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 423,871,677 and in terms of value it was 14,799,535,346.
Total traded companies were 428, among them 227 advanced, 188 declined while 13 went unchanged.
Lafarge Pak., Fauji Cement and Faysal Bank were top traded companies with the volumes of 37,141,500, 20,941,000 and 20,349,500 respectively.
Nestle Pak., Rafhan Maize and Island Textile were top three advancers while Wyeth Pak Ltd, Indus Dyeing and Bata (Pak) were top three decliners of the day.
