KSE 100-Index hits all time high
KARACHI: Karachi Stock Market on Wednesday hits all time high closing KSE 100-Index at 29783.30 points with a positive change of 242.58 points or 0.82 per cent, ARY News reported.
High and Low were 29842.52 and 29540.72 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 311,281,783 and in terms of value it was 15,204,330,487.
Total traded companies were 373, among them 208 advanced, 135 declined while 30 went unchanged.
The three top traded companies were TRG Pakistan Ltd. with a volume of 28,066,500 and price per share of 16.38 (1.00), Lotte Chemical with a volume 18,989,000 of price per share of 7.96 (0.26), P.T.C.L. with a volume 17,534,500 of price per share of 30.96 (1.47).
Unilever Foods, Nestle Pak. and Wyeth Pak Ltd were top three advancers while Bata (Pak),National Foods and Shell Pakistan were top three decliners.
According to analysts the prominent interest of foreign investors in the buying of UBL shares boosted the 100-Index greatly.
