KARACHI: Following the boost in the last few days, Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 Index closed the trading day with the decline of 193.82 points on Wednesday, ARY News reported.
KSE-100 Index suspended on 27115.20 points with the negative change of 0.71 per cent.
High and Low were 27427.04 and 27080.47 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 344,869,131 and in terms of value it was 17,456,237,651.
Total traded companies were 387, among them 148 advanced, 226 declined while 13 went unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Lafarge Pak. with a volume of 45,257,500, Byco Petroleum with a volume of 16,750,500, Engro Fertilize Ltd.with a volume of 15,260,500.
Wyeth Pak Ltd,Nestle Pak.and Sanofi-Aventis were top three advancers while Rafhan Maize, Bata (Pak) and Island Textile were top three decliners.
