KSE 100-Index loses 82.80 points

KARACHI: The downward trend in Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) continues as investors remained reluctant to invest keeping eye on upcoming budget, ARY News reported.

KSE 100-Index closed at 28760.12 points losing 82.80 points on Wednesday. 

High and Low were 28967.53 and 28738.04 respectively.

Total volume traded in the market was 235,803,158 and in terms of value it was 7,810,541,131.    

Total traded companies were 361, among them 139 advanced, 196 declined while 26 went unchanged.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 76,403,500 and price per share of 7.78 (0.54), Lafarge Pak.XD with a volume 39,207,000 of price per share of 14.34 (0.79), Dewan Motors with a volume 8,960,000 of price per share of 7.32 (0.47).

Rafhan Maize XD, Murree Brewery and Philip Morris Pak. were top three advancers while Bata (Pak) XD, Nestle Pak. and Island Textile were top three decliner.
