KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100-Index closed the trading day with the decline of 191.16 points on Monday, ARY News reported.
KSE-100 Index suspended on 28878.77 points with the negative change of 0.66 per cent.
High and Low were 29121.96 and 28813.82 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 190,238,868 and in terms of value it was 9,729,295,998.
Total traded companies were 359, among them 114 advanced, 233 declined while 22 went unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Fauji Cement with a volume of 11,116,000, Arif Habib Corp. with a volume of 9,110,500, Mapple with a volume of 7,370,500.
Trading on Monday started on positive note but soon it started to slump and closed with the negative change.
According to analysts political instability and suspension of peace talks with Taliban restricts the investors from trading while huge financial institutions remained sidelined.
