KSE 100-Index remains steady
KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100-Index closed higher on Tuesday suspending at 29057.44 points with the positive change of 58.41 points or 0.20 per cent, ARY News reported.
High and Low were 29094.05 and 28956.19 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 201,158,624 and in terms of value it was 11,141,895,794.
Total traded companies were 350, among them 175 advanced, 155 declined while 20 went unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 12,980,500 and price per share of 12.57 (0.44), Lafarge Pak. with a volume 11,694,000 of price per share of 15.30 (0.16), B.O.Punjab with a volume 5,421,500 of price per share of 8.83 (0.08).
Rafhan Maize with price per share 10999.00 (200.00), Shezan Inter with price per share of 896.80 (41.80) and MithchellsFruit share of 666.77 (27.59) were top three advancers while Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4275.01 (-225.00), Nestle Pak. with price per share of 7800.00 (-200.00) and Colgate Palmoliv per share of 1790.78 (-83.72) were top three decliners.
