KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 Index on Thursday closed at 28786.74 points with a positive change of 69.55 points, ARY News reported.
High and Low were 28905.71 and 28633.42 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 262,179,190 and in terms of value it was 13,912,385,306.
Total traded companies were 356, among them 167 advanced, 177 declined while 12 went unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Maple Leaf Cement with a volume of 10,419,500 and price per share of 30.44 (0.28), Lafarge Pak.XD with a volume 9,036,000 of price per share of 13.72 (0.05), Engro Fertilize Ltd. with a volume 7,993,000 of price per share of 69.57 (2.85).
Rafhan Maize with price per share 10416.67 (116.67), Bata (Pak) XD with price per share of 3443.00 (32.00) and MithchellsFruit share of 664.12 (27.79) were top three advancers while
The top three decliners were Nestle Pak. XD with price per share of 7900.00 (-125.00), Sanofi-Aventis XD with price per share of 941.93 (-49.57) and Gillette Pak per share of 399.00 (-21.00).
Karachi Stock Exchange remained staedy on Thursday following yesderdays' huge decline of 475 points.
