KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 Index has boosted by 123.12 points or 0.47 per cent on Monday and closed at 26169.83 points, ARY News reported.
High and Low were 26299.69 and 26046.71 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 149,219,040 and in terms of value it was 7,569,499,915.
Dealers stated that the rise was backed by reports of the Privatization Commission's meeting during the week to initiate the process of privatization. Pakistan International Airline Corporation will be among the companies that are to be privatized and gained a volume of 32 million.
The three top traded companies were P.I.A.C.(A), Faysal Bank and B.O.Punjab.
Furthermore, the top three advancers were Nestle Pak., Pak Tobacco and Service Ind.Ltd while the top three decliners were Sanofi-Aventis, Bata (Pak) and MithchellsFruit.
