KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) has hailed the grant of GSP Plus status and continued the positive trend by 184.69 points and KSE 100-Index closed at 25256.69 points on Friday, ARY News reported.
The 100-Index showed the positive progress of 0 .74 per cent on the day.
High and Low were 25285.62 and 25072.00 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 220,244,190 and in terms of value it was 10,784,297,870.
Local and foreign investors seemed very much interacted in the trading, the main reason behind the increase in interest was the GSP Status that was given to Pakistan by EU, dealer said.
Share price of various companies of textile sector has witnessed the hike, which was also the most traded sector of the day, dealer revealed.
