KURRAM: Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of the central Kurram region have started return to their homes after the armed forces cleared the tribal region from the menace of terrorists, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
According to official sources, the IDPs returning back to their homes after more than three years after the military cleansed the central Kurram region from the terrorists.
In the first phase of repatriation around 4000 families will return to their native homes, sources said. The first phase of the repatriation of the affected families will be completed by April 10.
The government providing free transport and ration of six months to the displaced families of the region, sources added.
