Three labourers gunned down in Balochistan

QUETTA: At least three labourers, hailing from Sindh, were gunned down by unidentified assailants in Dera Murad Jamali area of Balochistan on Tuesday, ARY News reported.

Police said that the terrorist riding motorcycles targeted the labourers at Goth Nazir Ahmed in Dera Murad Jamali and managed to flee from the scene. The officials said that all the three labourers belonged to Tando Adam and they arrived in Balochistan to earn livelihood.

Rescue officials shifted the bodies to hospital for medico-legal requirements. Police have registered a case in this regard and launched investigations to apprehend the suspects.

Earlier on April 13, at least 14 passengers had been offloaded from buses and shot dead on the Makran Coastal Highway in Balochistan’s Ormara town.

According to Levies sources, 15-20 unidentified armed men had intercepted five coaches travelling between Karachi and Gwadar near the Buzi Top area.

The assailants had checked the identity cards of passengers and offloaded 16 of them. They then had opened fire, killing 14 of the offloaded passengers as two managed to escape from the scene
