The Pokerface singer and her Chicago Fire boyfriend have been dating since long, 2011 to be precise. The two met whilst filming Gaga’s music video for her song You and I. The video featured Kinney as the object of affection for Lady Gaga, who ironically wore her mother’s wedding dress in the music video. The couple started dating for several months after meeting but broke up briefly in May 2012. However, the two got back together and now seem inseparable as ever. According to reports, after Kinney popped the question and Lady Gaga conveyed her assent, the couple made for the singer’s family’s restaurant, Joanne Trattoria located at the Upper West Side of Manhattan. In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Lady Gaga had admitted that if Kinney proposed to her, she would say yes. “He is the right guy,” she said regarding her beau. “How do we know? It’s this feeling…” For her potential wedding, Lady Gaga had also joked about it with Howard Stern. “If I get married, I’ll be hanging out in a pickup truck at a David’s Bridal while my stylist is screaming at me,” quipped the singer.
The singer wasted no time in showing off her ring on Instagram and wrote the caption:”He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!”
Lady Gaga seems to be relishing from her success these days. Her duet album with legend Tony Bennet, Cheek to cheek, was well received by the fans and led her to even winning a Grammy award for it.
