The CCTV footage of the incident showed that the speeding vehicle crossed the road divider at Mian Mir Flyover and crushed the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, killing Abdullah and Zaman.
The law enforcement agencies managed to arrest the driver who was identified as 17-year old Ibrahim. ARY News correspondent Yar Muhammad reported that the teenager was driving the vehicle without a driver’s license.
A girl was also sitting with Ibrahim when the accident took place. She was released by the cops after questioning.
The case has been filed against the driver. Police, on the other hand, said that Excise Department has no data of the vehicle with them.
