Lahore Airport opens after fog subsides
LAHORE: The flights resumed at Lahore's Allama Iqbal Airport after subsiding of the fog over the city on Saturday, ARY News reported.
A thick blanket of fog disturbs normal life in winter in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other regions of Pakistan. this morning, hitting the air, rail and road services in the provincial capital.
Earlier, the weather conditions lowering visibility in Lahore forced the Allama Iqbal Airport authorities to suspend flights.
In February the intermittent spells of winter rains are expected to cause more foggy and frosty mornings and nights in plains of Punjab.
