The Alhamra Art Centre, Lahore Arts Council on Saturday held a pictorial exhibition on the theme of Pakistan Day, ARY News reported.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mian Aslam Iqbal, Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade. Famed actor and Chairman Board of Governors Lahore Arts Council Tauqeer Nasir, and Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Ather Ali Khan were also present at this occasion.
The minister then visited the art gallery and saw the paintings. He expressed keen interest in the pictures and admired the creations of artists.

Minster Iqbal said that the exhibition would serve to aware the people about the hardships endured by the people during the movement for creation of Pakistan.
He said that the exhibition had duly delivered the essence of Pakistan Day and the struggle for Pakistan through pictorials.
“Educating the younger generation about importance of Pakistan, its history, and milestones in the movement is need of the time”, he said.
He directed the Lahore Arts Council to arrange the competition of national songs and contests about Pakistan movement.
