Lahore blast: 15 year-old injured passes away, death toll rises to 74

According to details, 15 year-old Anas had been injured in Sunday’s bomb blast that had taken place in Lahore. Anas, who was undergoing treatment at Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital, breathed his last today. With his death, the overall death toll rose to seventy-four people. Scores of others are injured and undergoing treatment in hospitals.

It is pertinent to mention that Anas’ father Mohommad Ayub Butt and sister Fatima had both been killed in the same bomb blast. The family had gone to the Gulshan-i-Iqbal park in Lahore on Sunday to spend the holiday together when the bomb had exploded.

Sunday’s blast drew condemnation from around the world, from famous personalities such as Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, Indian PM Narendra Modi, U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump and Bollywood superstars Hrithik Roshan and Diya Mirza. PM Nawaz vowed to hold terrorists accountable for the blood of innocent Pakistanis.
