LAHORE: The Lahore district bar on Wednesday unanimously approved a resolution, seeking suspension of license of Geo-Jang group and registration of treason case against them, ARY News reported.
The resolution, moved by Sardar Aftab Jutt and Safdar Jutt Advocate, said Geo and Jang group triggered propaganda against key defence institutions, Geo attempted to create hatred against Pakistan army in its coverage, it said.
The resolution demanded that a treason case should be registered against Jang group owner Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman and other stake holders and channel’s license should be suspended forthwith.
