According to details, the wall collapsed on the tents and 13 labourers got crushed under the rubble. Four labourers reportedly died on the spot.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and recovered the injured persons from the rubble with the help of machinery and man-power. The wounded persons were shifted to medical facilities where three more workers succumbed to their injuries.

The deceased were identified as Irfan, Maqbool, Usman, Arshad, Zulfiqar, Nadeem and Nasir. Their bodies have been sent to their respective native towns.

The incident occurred due to heavy rains, strong winds and large number of sand piled up along the wall of the under-constructed godown.
