Late goal helps Cardiff draw against Manchester United

TOP NEWS

CARDIFF: A late goal from Kim Bo-Kyung helped Cardiff City draw against Manchester United 2-2 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday, ARY News reports.

Wayne Rooney helped the defending Champions to take the lead in the 15th Minute after an assist by Javier Hernandez. However, the home side level the score 1-1 after Frazier Campbell scored as the ball was passed forward through the defenders by Jordon Mutch.

Manchester United was awarded a corner kick that was converted into a goal from a header by Patrice Evra in the 45th minute.

However, Kim Bo-Kyung levelled the game 2-2 in the first minute of the injury time and gave the defending Champions a taste of their own medicine of scoring late equalizers or winners.

Rooney still had the chance to score the goal in the late moments of the game as he had the chance to score the goal from above the incoming goal keeper’s head but gave it straight to the goal keeper as he intended to pass the ball to Danny Welbeck.
