LEAs violently killed MQM workers: Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) held an emergency press conference today at its headquarter Nine-Zero on Thursday announcing to observe day of mourning in Sindh tomorrow, ARY News reported.
While addressing a press conference, MQM Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that whole Karachi city is tense over to the extra judicial killing of MQM workers.
“Four of the MQM workers, whose dead bodies were found yesterday from Memon Goth, Malir were violently killed by law enforcement agencies (LEAs)“, he added.
Announcing to observe day of mourning, MQM leader said soon after the MQM’s call for the peaceful protest, people of Karachi suspended the business activities voluntarily. He appealed people to remain peaceful, calm and to control their emotions while recording the protest.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said our 9 workers were missing from April 13 while four of them were found deceased yesterday.
He said MQM have left everything to Allah as they are unable to get justice form the courts.
MQM leader informed that Governor of Sindh Ishrat ul Ibad has decided to form monitoring committee to investigate the matter of four dead bodies that were recovered yesterday.
