Law enforcers incarcerate 45 suspects in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: Police and law enforcement agencies conducted a search operation late on late Friday night near adjoining localities of Rawalpindi airport and arrested 45 suspects, ARY News reported.
According to sources, those arrested also include two Afghan nationals. The nabbed suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Meanwhile, police launched a raid in Effindi Colony and captured five suspects. Sources told that all of five suspects belonged to tribal areas.
It is pertinent to mention here that a large-scale military offensive in going on in North Waziristan in which more than 370 militants have been killed through air strikes. Besides, army has also launched ground offensive in the volatile region to capture hiding terrorists.
Ministry of Interior had issued warnings in all provinces to tighten security as terrorists disguised as displaced persons might enter any province to take shelter and reorganize.
