ISLAMABAD: The lawyers boycotting court proceedings today to protest against attack on Islamabad district court in which a judge, scores of lawyers and others were killed by a group of terrorists, ARY News reports on Tuesday. 

Lawyers stayed away from court proceedings in Quetta and other parts of southwestern Balochistan province. The lawyers the termed the attack in Islamabad district court an attack on judiciary.

The black-coats in Lahore, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur and other cities of Punjab province observed strike against the court attack and boycotted court proceedings.

In Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta and other cities of Sindh, lawyers stayed away from the court proceedings of cases.

Sindh High Court Bar Association has announced to organize a protest rally from the Sessions Court Hyderabad to Hyderabad Press Club to protest against Islamabad district court attack.
