KARACHI: Nomination papers continue to be filed in the offices of the Returning Officer for the Local Body (LB) Elections across the province as the deadline ends tomorrow, ARY News reports on Saturday.
According to the provincial Election Commission, 65,643 nomination papers have been received in which 2632 from Karachi West, 1718 from Karachi South, 2104 from Karachi East were received.
Further statistics report that 2,763 nomination papers were received from Karachi Central, 1828 were received from Malir and 1978 papers were received from Korangi.
3152 nomination papers were filed from Sukkur and 2292 papers were received from Ghotki.
The training of the electoral staff in Hyderabad and Sukkur has been delayed.
