RAIWIND: Officials of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) have briefed the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif regarding populating a new city near Lahore, the Prime Minister directed them to plan the city according to modernized standards – ARY News reports.
According to details, Commissioner Lahore and the Director General (DG) LDA briefed PM Nawaz Sharif about the new city to be populated along the bank of River Ravi. It was stated that a water treatment plant will be installed at the river bank, for providing safe drinking water to the people, whereas all the modern facilities will also be dispensed.
The Prime Minister directed the officials to build the new city in accordance with modern standards of living, where all the basic facilities should be available.
Moreover, the officials also briefed the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about all the ongoing development projects in Lahore.
