LEAs recover two abducted traders in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) recovered two traders that were kidnapped for extortion here in Peshawar, ARY News reports on Friday.

Peshawar Police carried out a search operation in the jurisdiction of Ghurbi Police Station after receiving information of criminals present in the area. Police searched each house after sealing the area.

Two traders named Hidayat Ullah and Kamal Khan were rescued by the police during the operation. The abductors had demanded Rs. 50 million from the traders for their release.

Police stated that the kidnappers managed to flee the area and a search operation is under way for their arrest.
