KALAR KAHAR: At least 16 people were killed including women and children, whilst 40 others were injured as a passenger bus fell into a trench here on Saturday – ARY News reports.
According to details, the bus plunged into trench near Martin town while enroute to Kalar Kahar and Pir Khhara. Due to the incident 16 people, including 3 children and 4 women were killed on the spot, whereas nearly 40 other passengers were injured.
Meanwhile, rescue teams rushed to the site took out the injured and dead bodies from the wreckage of the bus and shifted them to hospital.
Sources told that the incident occurred because of rain and brakes failure.
The ill-fated passengers were travelling from Chakwal to Kalar Kahar.
