Six killed in Karachi violence
KARACHI: Four dead bodies were found from Quaidabad and Surjani Town areas of Karachi whereas two persons were shot dead in firing incidents in the city, ARY News reports on Saturday.
According to police, two bullet riddled bodies were found from Madina Town of Quaidabad.
Bullet riddled bodies of two unknown were recovered from a vehicle in Yaaro Goth area of Surjani Town. Their hands and legs were tied.
Their ages are said to be in between 25 to 30 years.
Two persons were shot dead in different firing incidents at Raees Amrohi area of Orangi Town and Shah Faisal Town claimed two lives. The bodies were sent to a hospital for identification process.
Two people were wounded in firing incidents in the jurisdiction of Gulbahar Police Station and Liaquatabad whereas two others were injured in incidents at Quaidabad and Clifton area.
Criminals killed in encounter:
Police gunned down two alleged criminals in an encounter at Kalri area of Lyari.
Several suspects were rounded up as the paramilitary forces carried out search operations in suspected hideouts of banned organizations at Kunwari and MPR Colonies.
The entry and exit routes of the areas were sealed during the raids.
More than 300 Rangers personnel, including women searchers, took part in the operations.
