Leaving for India with a peace message: Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he is leaving for India with the message of peace, ARY News reports.

The statement was made by the Pakistani Premier as he was leaving for India's capital New Delhi to attend the oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi.

Nawaz Sharif has said that he is hopeful of reviving the Pak-India ties on the level of 1999. He further said that it is the first priority of his government to normalize ties with neighboring states.

Pakistani PM added that the confidence building process has to be promoted in the disputed issues between the two countries.

Nawaz said that he has suggested meetings between the foreign ministers of the two countries after every two months.
