LHC orders to implement one dish limit in court functions

LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Syed Mansoor Ali Shah on Tuesday ordered to implement one dish limit in all the functions to be held under the high court and district judiciary across Punjab.

He announced that the one dish menu should have one curry and rice, while only tea and biscuits should be served in official meetings of the LHC and district courts.

“The Hon’able Chief Justice has been pleased to order that in all the official events of the LHC and district judiciary in Punjab, only one dish (one salan, one rice dish, one salad, hot and cold drinks, roti, nan and one sweet dish) shall be served,” reads the statement issued by the LHC.

The CJ LHC restricted from extravaganza expenditure in events of the courts across the province.

All the session judges and director general judicial academy have been sent notification in this regard.
