LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has banned entry of Geo correspondents, intending to cover proceedings at LHCBA, ARY News reported on Monday.
The LHCBA said they believe in freedom of press, but no compromise would be made on national security.
The bar association said none of the Geo employees would be allowed at LHCBA, intending to cover the proceedings.
Geo has been under attack since it accused premium intelligence of the country, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in connection to gunmen attack on journalist Hamid Mir last month.
Geo Tv had overtly blamed the DG ISI for his involvement in the attack, however, it had no proofs to attests to its truth.
