Liam Neeson rebuts rumors of conversion to Islam

TOP NEWS

There has been a lot grapevine about Irish actor Liam Neeson’s conversion to Islam. But the actor has rebutted all such news by saying “No I am not converting to Islam” in the premiere of his film ‘Taken 3’ in Dubai.

Reports suggested that the 62-year –old actor was thinking about becoming a Muslim back in 2012 after filming for ‘Taken 2’ in Turkey. Liam was heard saying that Azaan (Islamic call to prayer) “got into his spirit” while he was filming in Istanbul. The actor has been in reports since then regarding his religious beliefs.

The actor was quoted saying in 2012 “The call to prayer happens five times a day, and for the first week, it drives you crazy, and then it just gets into your spirit, and it’s the most beautiful, beautiful thing,”

However, Liam Neeson has denied all reports on his first trip to the Middle East. Liam is a Roman Catholic and he has no plans to leave his belief.
