Life swipes to normal in metropolis

KARACHI: Ulema and religious scholars thanked the citizens of Karachi for making today's strike successful, whilst the situation in the metropolis came to normal routine at 3 pm in the noon upon the request of the traders – ARY News reports.

According to details, Ulema Action Committee (UAC) had called for an strike in Karachi today against the killings of JUIS official Mufti Usman Yar Khan and other religious scholars, doctors, lawyers, journalists and innocent citizens.

Transporters Association also announced not to bring public transport on roads, whilst the Private Schools Association had also decided to keep the schools shut on Friday.

As a result, a full-fledge strike was observed in the metropolis; however situation began to swipe to its normal soon after the Friday prayers.

Public transport knocked the roads once again, fuel-pumps were opened and the traders also resumed their businesses.

Meanwhile, Ulema and scholars thanked the citizens, traders, transporters and people from all walks of life for making the strike successful.
