List of Candidates issued for elections- PTI

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) issued a list of its contesting candidates for national & provincial assembly for upcoming general elections 2018 in the country.

According to PTI, the count for candidates for national Assembly is around 173, whereas, for provincial assembly it is 290.

Imran Khan, Chairman PTI will contest election on five seats of National Assembly: NA-35 Bannu, NA-53 Islamabad-II, NA-95 Mianwali-I, NA-131 Lahore-IX and NA-243 Karachi.

Ghulam Sarwar Khan will contest the election from two Rawalpindi constituencies i.e. NA-59 and NA-63.

PTI vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi will be contesting from NA-156 Multan, though party spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry will be contesting from NA-67 Jhelum.

In Karachi, Arif Alvi, Ali Zaidi & Saifur Rehman will be contesting the polls from NA-247, NA-244 and NA- 242 respectively from Karachi as PTI candidate.

Asad Umar, PTI leader will contest the polls from NA-54 Islamabad, Aleem Khan in NA-129 Lahore and Abrarul Haq in NA-78 Narowal.

Dr Yasmin Rashid will be the party candidate from NA-125 Lahore.

PTI has decided Ghulam Mustafa Khar in NA-181 as its contestant from Muzaffargarh, as he is one of the expert politician. Zulfikar Khosa will contest the polls on PTI ticket from NA-190 Dera Ghazi Khan.

Pervez Khattak and Murad Saeed will be PTI’s candidates for NA-25 Nowshera and NA-4 Swat, respectively.

Aijaz Chaudhry from NA-133 Lahore, Nadeem Afzal Chan from NA-88 Sargodha, Shafqat Mehmood from NA-130 Lahore and Usman Dar from NA-73 Sialkot.

As far as provincial assembly is concerned, for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, party tickets have been issued to 81 candidates on Friday.

Names of 21 candidates have been announced for Sindh and 23 for Balochistan assemblies so far. Moreover, for Punjab Assembly, tickets are issued for 165 constituencies.
