ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Asif has claimed to overcome load-shedding crisis by 2018, ARY News reported.
Talking to media here, the minister said it would take two to three years to overcome load-shedding crisis. “We will try to restrict power outages to six to seven hours a day during this scorching summer season across the country,” he added.
The issue of power theft will be presented in Council of Common Interests meeting. The minister it was being considered to shut markets early under the power conservation plan and letters in this regard have already been dispatched to stakeholders concerned.
