ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water & Power has said that the next two to three months are difficult with regard to power load shedding, ARY News reported on Friday.
Addressing a press conference, Power Minister Khawaja Asif said that people have to demonstrate endurance during the period.
He said the government has been in contact with provinces and Azad Kashmir for recovery of the electricity arrears.
He said the power load shedding has reduced as per the promises made by the PML-N but the next few months are difficult.
He said the issue of circulatory debt in energy sector has emerged again but the matter not goes out of the control.
The minister said that the smart meters have been installed at feeders, which will in the next three years will be installed at consumers level. He said the new electricity meters will help to lower the power theft to a greater extent.
