Local office-bearers from districts Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Hangu, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan and Tank held a protest sit-in outside KP Assembly demanding authority and control of local resources from the provincial government.
The participants on the occasion danced to the beat of Dhol giving a unique touch to their protest.
The protest also resulted in halting traffic for a while.
The local representatives warned of expanding the scope of their protest if their demands were not met.
