ISLAMABAD: The Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing companies on Wednesday has raised LPG price by Rs 5 per kg, ARY News reported.
Chairman of LPG Distributor Association Irfan Khokhar said that price has been raised with immediate effect.
Following the increase in rates the price of domestic cylinder hiked by Rs 60 and commercial cylinder by Rs 240.
Furthermore, in major cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Karachi LPG will be available at Rs 115 per KG, while it will be sold at Rs 135 in hilly areas.
Distributors curse the decision by saying that sufficient amount of LPG will be added to its capacity with the inauguration of Makori Oil field at Khohat.
“The raise is illegal and ill logical, Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif should take notice of the increase”, they added.
