LAHORE: Producers and directors of Pakistan’s film industry have been united against the illegal exhibition of Indian films in Pakistan, ARY News reported on Saturday.
A seminar was organized in Lahore press club against the illegal exhibition of Indian films, addressed by senior anchor of ARY News Mubashir Luqman and was attended by some prominent personalities of Pakistan’s film industry.
While addressing a press conference after the seminar, said that although he faced many difficulties in his struggle against the display of Indian movies but he also got the offers for millions of rupees to withdraw the cause.
He also revealed that no patriotism was observed during the talent hunt program of singing, that is being conducted by a private TV channel.
Some prominent figures of Pakistan’s film industry including Syed Noor, Altaf Hussain, Hassan Askari, Waris Baig, Madiha Shah and Jehanzaib Baig praised Mubashir Luqman for his struggle and vowed to provide full support regardless of any circumstances.
