In the first incident, a gang-war criminal of Lyari was killed in police encounter in Kalri area. He was identified as Abdullah alias Haji Dada. The deceased criminal was affiliated with Shakeel Badshah group, who was operating in volatile Lyari neighbourhood.
The slain gangster was wanted to police in different cases of crime including kidnapping for ransom.
Similarly two robbers were gunned down in encounter with police near Sohrab Goth area.
Meanwhile, two people were killed in firing near Gulistan-e-Jauhar when unknown armed men opened fire on them outside ImamBargah.
Separately, a man was killed in firing in Lyari. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.
