Lyari gangsters amongst six killed in Karachi
KARACHI: Four people were killed in different firing and violent incidents in Karachi while two Lyari gangsters were killed in an encounter, ARY News reports on Sunday.
According to police, a body was found near the Teen Hatti Bridge in Liaquatabad area. The person was tortured before he was shot dead.
Another body was found in a sack at Zaman Town area of Korangi. Police have said that torture marks were found on his body.
Two women killed:
Two women were gunned down and three others were wounded when dacoits placed barriers on the road and started robbing the people near Korangi Crossing.
The women were identified as Saeeda Bano and Aroosha.
According to sources, the women were returning to their home at Korangi No. 4 with their family from Sea View.
The driver of the vehicle tried to turn the vehicle to save the family but the dacoits opened fire at them.
Relatives of the deceased women protested at Bhittai Police Station. According to the family, the policemen were asleep when they arrived at the police station to file the case against the incident.
Group Clashes injures four:
Four persons were wounded during a group clash near Bismillah Hotel at New Karachi area.
Lyari gangsters killed in encounter:
Two alleged Lyari gangsters were killed in an encounter at Kalakot Mill area of Lyari.
Sources reported that the gangsters opened fire at the law enforcing agencies during a raid and were killed in the retaliatory fire. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the alleged gangsters.
Police have said that the Lyari gangsters were affiliated to Faisal Pathan group.
