A huge milestone in Katrina Kaif’s life. No, she hasn’t exactly tied the knot as of yet with Ranbir Kapoor. We are talking about the fact that Madame Tussauds has confirmed Katrina’s wax statue will be soon included and have its very own coveted place in the museum.
According to the official website of Madame Tussauds, the glamorous Bollywood damsel had engaged closely with officials of the Madame Tussauds and given them her exact measurements. As far as the details of the statue and when it will be unveiled are concerned, here’s what the website had to say:-
“Katrina has collaborated closely with our sculptors and artists to decide a dancing pose and outfit for the figure, having given a sitting in Mumbai where all the measurements required to create an accurate likeness were gathered. A team of 20 artists will work on the figure, which will cost £150,000 to produce, and completion is scheduled for Spring 2015 when it is hoped Katrina will unveil the figure herself here at our London attraction.”
Madame Tussauds is a renowned tourist attraction based in London and has branches in other cities throughout the world as well. The wax museum features wax statues of prominent personalities hailing from music, film, politics and other backgrounds. To have your statue included in Madame Tussauds is a moment of pride and recognition for an artist or personality, as only people with a global fan following are chosen to be immortalized in it.
